These stunning pendants are formed by dropping molten recycled silver into water whilst still liquid.
The shock of the water changes the sequence of the metals within the silver, creating an almost golden finish on top.
They cannot be heated in anyway as it changes the composition and colour so a chain is added either through a natural or created hole. During the finishing process sharp points are removed unless they add to the piece, the top is polished at points to add further dimensions and in places small touches of gold leaf are added to add depth of colour.
They are hallmarked but at a lower grade of silver (800) due to how the metal comes up when tested.
They are totally unique, rare and unusual and the process is un-controllable.
